For the past 3 years I've worked as the Production Artist and Manager for Luxon Carra, a corporate identity and branding firm located in San Francisco, recently acquired by the True North Corporation. Some of my clients include: - Wells Fargo - 3Com - US Airways - Quantum - Lufthansa - Tesoro Petroleum - The Make-A-Wish Foundation My primary role at Luxon Carra has been to oversee development and implementation of the new or refined identities that Luxon Carra produces for their clients. This typically involves the creation of extensive graphic guidelines both printed and/or online; producing standardized templates for brochures, stationery and presentations; creating a library of logos for all foreseeable applications; and generally filling the production needs of the client during the transitional period while their new identity is adopted. I do a lot of the hands-on production, as well as delegate assignments among our staff and coordinate contract and freelance services when specialized needs arise. I am experienced at building documents from the initial design concept through the creation of pre-press artwork, and at working with printers from the specs and bids to press checks. Looking forward, I hope to secure a position that will utilize my creativity and branding experience, as well as my production, design and management skills, to provide me with new challenges in the graphic design industry.
